LG contracted with RXO Logistics to deliver the washer and dryer but they have no-showed for the appointment TWICE and keep giving me the runaround when I call. They refuse to actually schedule the delivery and instead just say they will call back but never actually do.

A good deal that works well

Overall it works well. The controls take a little getting used to compared to our old very basic dryer. We have used the setting for avoiding wrinkles when drying cycle but sometimes there are still some wrinkles. The one feature we wished it has is a light inside when you open it. Overall it was a good deal and we are satisfied.

DOESNT DRY. DONT BUY

Sad and disappointed 7/30/2024

Terrible dryer We bought this dryer due to the great reviews. After less than a year it quit drying the clothes properly. There is condensation that builds up on the door of the dryer and leaves our clothes smelly stinky. We have tried all the settings trouble shot with an LG representative got the dryer vent/tubing cleaned and the problem persists. The LG representative basically said that there is nothing that they can do since its out of warranty when we called had a baby and two storms this year that have kept us busy. There is no backing from the company on their product performance. This is a $1000 dryer and they wont back their product at all. Will not be buying any products from LG again. No integrity in the company and have lost my trust in their products. Either the products they produce are only expected to last a year which is why there is such a short warranty or we got a defective product in which case I would expect a good company to say that our experience is not the norm and they will exchange the product for one that works. Very disappointed in the whole experience and sad that this is how low customer service has gone.

16 Years of Amazing Service to our Family

This LG Washer/Dryer had heavy usage. I took care of my disabled Grandfather Father 2 Sisters and a nephew Performed very well for MANY years. At the 16yr mark the bearings went on the dryer while the washer still worked perfectly I replaced them both with LG PRODUCTS. My biggest complaint was with the design of the front load washer The rubber boot that seals the door has to be towel dried after every wash day or it mildews and molds inside that boot YUCK. Also the front load units after a wash cycle is.complete retains a good amount of water in the bottom of the unit under the drum. This is a design flaw That standing water gets smelly and nasty and next time u wash u are washing the clothes in that leftover residual water YUCK For this reason I would never buy a front load again or until they correct these design flaws. If u have a lot of money to burn buy a Speed Queen However if you are a average Joe like me buy ONLY an LG brand washer/dryer You wont be sorry. NOTE: LG has the BEST MOST competent customer service in the appliance world That actually COUNTS in this day and age

Missing an interior light.

Dryer operates well. Written instructions not provided for front operation panel. Called customer assistance and they offered to walk me though it by 82 years old and need something visual. Im hoing to find something I can print on line. Agent did also send a video which I havent watched as yet. Very disappointed that there is no light in the drum. After 60+ years of owning dryers It never occurred to me there wouldnt be a light. I would not have purchased it had I been aware.

Not sure I faith in LG products.

Not even 3 years old and it has broken down to the point where it cannot be used. We are awaiting repair under extended warranty and are now on 3 weeks with one part still on back order. They estimate another 2 weeks. 5 weeks without a dryer is unacceptable especially since the machine is relatively new. LG does not seem to care too much. Why do I have an extended warranty if it cannot be repaired in a timely manner. Very disappointed.

Do Not Buy

I purchased this dryer from Home Depot on 11/23/2020 and it was installed on 12/03/2020. I paid 80.09 which included the parts required to install sales tax and $25 haul away fee for old dryer which was nearly 30 years old. Last week it stopped working. It is just shy of 3 years old and died. The repairman gave us a list of the parts needed to repair and it came to over $350 not including labor. Again for a dryer that didnt even make it three years. We are buying a new one and scrapping this LG piece of junk. Will never buy any LG appliance again.

Great customer services and professional tech supp

Recently I had an issue with my LG dryer. It was overheated and stopped working. So I contacted the customer service and the representative was very nice to assist me to help solve the problem. They sent us a professional technician to our house to do the repairs. Their efficiency and professionalism are the greatest in the industry. I definitely recommend LG as a top and reliable brand for electronics.

Broke in less than 5 days of purchase

NOT so satisfied customer 10/30/2023

Broke down 5 days after purchase. Called LG lady didnt want to send a tech out threatened me that I would have to pay a fee if it wasnt the dryers fault why wouldnt it be since I replaced my old GAS dryer with this new one. Tech came out and OMG Yes it was the dryers broken gas intake valve #shocking. Took 1.5 weeks to have it fixed part in order. Drying wet clothes outside in the cold does not work fyi. Only good thing was the tech super nice guy and quick. Ps: no light in the dryer didnt realize how useful that was wish I would have double checked on that one lol.

Difficult to use comtrols

The door and drum are a nice size. The controls are difficult to use. The auto dry is actually a timed dry and the clothes are not completely dry when the dryer cycle ends. I can not determine how to change the temperature or time for this settling. I can not understand the instructions and when I try to follow them they do not work. Customer Service was also not able to help me. So I just reset the dryer when the cycle ends and the clothes are not dry enough. Eventually they do get dry

Hard to operate

Controls are hard to understand and auto dry stops before clothing is dry meaning that I need to reset and come back later. Instructions dont help and neither did customer service. The drum size is nice and the door big. In the end the clothes get dry and so it just means a few extra trips to the laundry room

Bought dryer in early August and it was fantastic Unfortunately the dryer stopped drying about a week ago - only cold air so clothes were not drying. I reached out to LG and they sent me a link to test why the dryer stopped working. I performed the test and dryer showed an error which was lack of gas. Technician is coming out next Monday to fix. LG has been very responsive have sent any possible needed parts to my house and have been contacting me.

Worth every penny

We replaced our 22-year old gas dryer with this model from LG. What a treat It runs so quietly and the automatic features are wonderful No guessing how long the load should go in forit just dries our clothes towels linens to perfection.

i am not as happy with the dryer as with my new washer there are a lot of cycle settings but it seems that most could use to be longer for a full dry also i have had a problem with my sheets...i think there may be a burr or rough spot causing my sheets to have lots of pull marks...i do like how quiet the machine is

Bought both the washer and companion dryer when my old washer died. Was highly recommended by the store and friends. Love them both. Big enough to do basically a white load and dark weekly. Good price.

Somewhat disappointed for a highly rated model.

Some good some not so much. Pros: Very quiet Cons: Side opening door. You dont realize how much a downward opening door is better till its gone. One LG model had a way to operate in either direction they all need this. No interior light is a terrible cheap saving idea some very short-sighted pencil pusher came up with. Manual has almost no operational instructions just repetitious installation warnings. Auto dryness sensing is poor with mix of light and heavy fabrics ie. towels and sheets.
