Simply WHITE, simply RIGHT! Our GE gas range/oven quit after 25 years of dependable service and replacement parts were no longer available anywhere. Arvada Appliance, CO (yay, you!) sold us a new white GE slide-in front-control convection gas range with no-preheat air fry that perfectly matches our white GE dishwasher and refrigerator. Love the center burner, simmer burner, and air fryer. Love the edge-to-edge cooktop with no backsplash control panel so we have more stovetop cooking area. Hated to part with our old range but this one is a keeper.

We have only had the stove for a few weeks. Works great. Learning how to use the convection and air fry features. One thing I do not like is the timer. It is too quiet! When you are busy cooking you need something that gets your attention. The two front burners are very powerful. Since cooking on the front is what we use we would have liked one to be just regular heat.

Just what we needed

I'd been waiting for another range for 6 months when my dishwasher died. But the dishwasher that would match my preferred range was on back order. After two weeks of doing dishes by hand, the kids begged me to buy anything so that they'd be relieved of dish duty. GE model 665 was delivered and became the catalyst for this suite of new appliances. The gas stove does everything the higher end one would do and for a fraction of the cost. Plus the burner rings lift off easily and the porcelain top is a breeze to clean. A little baking soda on the corner of a sponge and a few rubs will remove anything that has been cooked on. Unlike an electric cooktop, stainless steel pot and lid handles become very hot, so handy pot holders are essential. The oven roasts and bakes beautifully, and it's aesthetics do make a statement. This is a quality appliance. One caution, the stove is tall. If you are smaller in stature, recommend you see a floor model to determine if it's right for you.

I like that the ignite function can be bypassed.

No more annoying clicking of the ignition as you can move the knob past that function once ignited. Burners are strong. I don't like the middle grill but that can be replaced with a grate. Oven heats quickly.

The stove is beautiful and.very well built. The doors are substantial and feel high quality. The burners are very strong and heat up quickly. The keypad that runs the oven is intuitive and is easy to use. I like the way the stove light automatically goes on when the oven door is opened. NO INSTRUCTIONS!

This might be a nice stove, but so far, other than turning on and off the burners, I have zero idea how the different functions in the oven are supposed to be used. That is very frustrating. No manual was included, and the online one has precious little information either. I purchased this unit for the oven features, but need more help about using bake, convection, air fry, broil and roast settings??? All this after waiting 4 months after purchase to get it delivered.

We switched from a glass top electric range to this gas slide in. The four burners provide a nice range of heat control. The griddle is a nice bonus. The oven heats quickly and evenly. It's many options have put the fun back in baking. I wish I had a picture of my first batch of cinnamon rolls. Perfection in a pan! So far clean up has been a snap. I encourage people looking for solid value at reasonable prices to take a look.

I have had it for a month now. Top burners and oven work great. Pretty intuitive to use.i also like the fact that you can lock the digital keypad when cleaning so you don't accidentally press any commands and turn something on. Love the convection!! I've never used on before and always wanted one. No problems estimating temp or time for recipes. Also, the white color looks better in person than it does in pictures.

We like the style of this range and the way the burners are set up. It takes a very long time for the oven to get temp which is frustrating. It usually takes 10 minutes or more to reach 400 degrees. The burner covers stain easily. I've tried everything to clean them.

Great so far! Except the timer.

I've only had the oven a month - so can't say long term. But so far we love it. Sleek white design. It has ample room in the storage area. I love that the grates and griddle are continuous and even so that i can put hot pans from the oven on them without it tipping over. The timer is the only problem i can see so far. The timer doesn't stay visible during cooking (sometimes it does sometimes it does not) so sometimes i cannot see how much longer is left, but i can see that the timer is on via a little clock symbol on the right side of the oven temp display. Also the timer is so quiet when it goes off. I can't hear it from other rooms of the house.

Good - could be even better!

Purchased this gas range 3 months ago to replace a 21 year old GE Slide-In range with a ceramic top that I absolutely adored. At this point I'm comfortable with this range. It works well and unexpectedly I have found many uses for the center griddle. The range is very powerful and I still have to be careful not to turn the burners on too high. The oven is also extremely hot. One problem that I have that I wasn't expecting is that the sound volume is extremely low to the point of being almost nonexistent. This makes the timer absolutely useless. If I would have been aware of this fact, I would not have purchased this model. I cannot recommend this model for this reason.

Dissapointing

Quality control at factory does not exist. Paint missing and or scratched in multiple places. Not from appliance store b/c it was under protective coverings and film from factory. Rejected first TWO and accepted 3rd but with paint still missing on an edge. Waiting on touch up paint. We gave up and realized a " perfect" damage free range was NOT going to happen in our lifetime. The placement of burners is not well thought out. Both large power burners are in the front and are too large for anything smaller than 12" pot/pan. The medium size burner which is most utilized in our home is in the back and too hard to reach for something that needs constant attention while cooking. The keypad in very touchy and we're constantly turning something on/off accidentally when reaching over it. We didnt have a lot of options and couldnt wait b/c our oven had died. The burners are more powerful than our previous Frigidaire range.

Convection and Air fry do NOT work

They have been out 3 times and the fan still does not come on when the oven is used in Convection bake or Air fry. Works for convection roast. They keep telling me the fan isn't supposed to come on the whole time...funny, that is what the convection roast does, and not having the fan on is what regular bake is for. Would not buy again!

Love it, love it, love it. The burners ignite immediately, the grid is wonderful to use. Hamburgers n Grill cheese has never been so easy so easy. My cooking skills have certainly improved. Lol. Love the fan that cools down oven after using. Haven't had a chance to use air fryer, but looking forward to it.

This stove has so many features to explore and enjoy while cooking. I love the burner sizes from the simmer to the two for large pots. And I love the griddle. New appliances take a while to acclimate cooking techniques, but this one is cooperating beautifully.

All my friends own Wolf, Viking, or Kitchen Aid - sorry, but they wasted so much money just for a status symbol! This is the BEST range with convection oven (and the super boilers) anyone could ever want. I purchased it when we remodeled our kitchen 2 years ago - so happy with it - absolutely not one complaint or "I wish it had XYZ...".

I'm still learning how to use all the feature. Oven: 1) Air fryer needs more time than recipes for countertop air fryers 2) Still learning how to use the air fryer features so my opinion may change in the future. 3) Standard oven feature baking and convection baking works OK, but again I'm still learning how to use all these feature. Cook top: 1) I like the burners 2) I like the gratings for the burners 3) The rubber lifter on the corners makes cleaning easier 4) I don't care too much for the center aluminum grill, would preferred a cast iron one. Digital Display: 1) The timer beep is too soft. Volume cannot be increased Fit and Finished: 1) Overall the unit seems to be well built 2) Fit perfectly, there were no gaps between counter and stove. 3) Only complaints are the exposed holes and screws. My discarded cheap oven was better finished.

Great stove that doesn't work

Design is great, however the air fry and convection oven don't work. Burners are great, steam clean works well. Easy to clean. Customer service is slow to respond.

Met our Expectations

Firstly, finding an above average stove in White was challenging. Kudos to GE for keeping this colour line. The lower storage drawer was another requirement this model met. This review is for the Gas model. We are enjoying the clean design, easy cleaning under the grates & the centered griddle. The Convection & AirDryer oven options are a bonus. Convection ovens are always a baking enhancement. The Air Dryer is really a convection oven on steroids- but we have been using it occassionally with sucess. (Plaintains, Potatoes & Roasted Veg) Griddle is great for egg, tortillas, arepas & griiled bread sandwiches. Gas burners are strong. The largest front burner can acommodate a wide, >9" pot. The oven was bought online because of Covid Restrictions , but I still think this purchase would have been improved by in store opening of doors/ turning knobs etc.

I moved into my current house 3 years ago. It had a GE electric stove that was original to the house. Built in 1979. So for 42 years it chugged along until 2 weeks ago. So of course our choice would be a GE product. As the chief cook, I wanted something streamlined, simple, easy clean and not a lot of bells and whistles. Don't get me wrong this range can do just about anything. I bought the white. Clean and bright. I know dark appliances are the thing but to me they darken a kitchen and I need as much light as I can get. So this stove arrived on time. The two young delivery drivers were fast, efficient, friendly and careful. Our first night of cooking on new fabulous stove? Fried eggs cooked perfectly and pancakes on the griddle! Warmed up maple syrup. Heaven. Thanks GE. Do you think this new stove will survive for 42 years? I'm betting it will. 5 stars.

I haven't had a chance to use the air fryer yet but it's exciting that it is included in the oven. I like the fact it has 3 racks in the oven. I also like the sound of the timer. The preheat is fast and the temperature bakes evenly.

Purchased the range in a season when white appliances were difficult to find. Through a number of searches came upon the GE stove through Appliance Connection. Due to the time frame required ordered this unit. Upon receipt found the features and appearance to be all that we could have hoped for even if there would have been broader options available.
