Good Dehumidifier Needing Little Daily Attention

We needed a dehumidifier for our basement laundry room -- the humidity is a result of a problem with our french drain so that the wall becomes wet whenever it rains. The dehumidifier does its work and doesn't need us to be there to constantly empty the bucket. Very convenient and reliable.

Working very well and not noisy. Only complaint about filter replacing time. It seems that it request to clean or replace every 10 days (no matter filter condition). It seems that it is annoying to me.

The dehumidifier is poorly designed, the front of the container is difficult to remove without spilling water when it's full. It's noisy and irritating. The absence of a cord wrap is a nuisance and the cord is far too short. It definitely removes moisture effectively.

Works great and very discrete look for a big dehumidifier but it is very loud. Don't get me wrong I have owned a lot of dehumidifiers and this one is loud... but it works and lasts. And I like the big bucket so I don't have to empty it multiple times.

Overall, the system is quiet (3 selectable fan speeds for even quieter operation), and does the job well. My only complaint is that while using the hose pump feature, the bucket has filled up, and stopped the system from operating (until the bucket is emptied). This has only happened a couple times since I've owned the machine, so I check it each week and empty the collected water. This would be important for someone who wants to leave the system running for long unattended periods. Someone needs to check the system and empty the bucket IF you're using the hose pump feature.

I'm a proud American and I love General Electric products. This my second GE de humidifier. The other I've had for a year or so and is working perfect. This one going strong and I have had no problems. The pump I have not used yet, but I might set it up later on. The timer which I have on both de humidifiers is great but it would be nice to have a clock that you could adjust to specific time.

This is our second GE dehumidifier. The first one has been in service a few years and has not given us any problems. We have purchased off-brand dehumidifiers in the past that have not lasted very long. This one simply works.
