My 47 years old side-by-side GE refrigerator stopped working, so I had to look for a new one. I live in a condo with limited space. I could not find a side-by-side that would be 30 inches wide and my options were limited. Reviews for this fridge were mixed, but so far I am pretty happy with it. It is very silent most of the day. The ice maker works like a charm. I just wish that there was a fan inside the fridge to circulate the cold air, quickly bringing down the temperature when the door is left open for some period of time while transferring groceries. Also, its compressor is constantly on which may result in reduced compressor's life. Time will tell how long it lasts, but so far I am very satisfied.

Nice size fridge with French door makes for easily grabbing something quickly with just opening one side, lots of door storage. Ice cubes are small cubes which are perfect, I never liked the semi-circle shaped ice from our old ice maker, hooray for cubes! And there is a ton of ice storage, much larger ice tray than the one we replaced. Lighting is also a big upgrade from our last fridge, lots of bright led lighting in the fridge. Water dispenser works great, though we don't use it much yet, will need to get into that habit if we think of it.

Fridge is fabulous. Really like it but the concern is an opening on the back with wires loose inside. With wire nuts and such. The concern is I have cats. We went back to Home Depot to ask about it and were told that it is so the fridge can get air circulation. But why are wires loose inside there. I have to keep something right there to keep my cats from getting close to the opening. Thinking of getting some screen or something like that to protect it. If it really is for air circulation it is a poor design. I like how well the fridge works but the only option they gave me is to return it. I checked all throughout the online owners manual and there are no pictures of the back of the fridge and no mention of this area in the back being open like this.

The French door format gives us greater flexibility and freedom to move in our small row home kitchen. We love having our food at eye level so we can be sure to minimize our food waste. French Door Refrigerator

I have a small cutout for a refrigerator in my kitchen (36W x 69H x 24D). This refrigerator fix (sticks out quite a bit, but that's okay). It makes more noise than my old refrigerator, and there is a rattling that I can stop by pulling the unit, so I think it is a installation issue (maybe it was pushed in too close to wall). But I am happy with its performance otherwise. I had a side-by-side before, and I could not fit a large cookie baking pan it it. Now I can. The ice bin is too large and takes up too much space in the freezer. I only wish I had thought a little more about how much room I needed in the freezer.

Like the space. The narrow shelf could be just a tad higher to fit basic small containers. Otherwise every bit of the space inside is utilized nicely. Haven't gotten filtered water hooked up yet but hope to so I can use the water dispensing feature. Wasn't sure how I would feel about the ice being on inside without a dispenser bit I get it quicker this way by the scoop than waiting for ice to dispense. Overall great fridge.

5 months ago in June I bought a Frigidaire refrigerator. it worked fine for the first few weeks. The it started going into sabbath mode, the lights stopped working, and so on, service technicians have been to my house 8 times to date, they have replaced the control board twice the min board twice, door switches and other parts. Today a service technician was here yet again. He replaced the main board and as he was packing up his tools the problem once again started. Calling your customer care is just a total waste of time, and I need this situation resolved

Overall satisfied with our purchase! We love the slide out freezer and the larger access to the fridge with the double doors. We have a small kitchen. Our previous Frigidaire fridge/freezer was a side by side with limited width for fitting pizza boxes and large pots in. The only downside so far is that it is a little noisy.
